Compliance Officer

Trustly holds a license as a payment institution and is supervised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. As our Compliance Officer you are responsible for ensuring that the company is in compliance with laws and regulations that applies to Trustly and that policies and procedures adopted in this respect are relevant and updated and adhered to within the business. The Compliance Officer oversees the company´s compliance function as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization.
Your duties:
Develop, maintain, and implement policies and procedures of the company ensuring adherence with regulatory requirements and relevant applicable legislation.
Providing guidance and advice to management and relevant functions within the company in compliance related matters.
Proactively analyse and monitor changes in the regulatory and legal landscape in order to meet and forsee changes required in the business.
Safeguarding and ensuring compliance with a technical approach always striving towards automatization and effectiveness.
Act as an independent evaluation body, ensuring that compliance Issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved
Your profile:
A degree in law or equivalent education
2-4 years of working experience from a similar role, preferably within the banking or payment sector.
Comfortable with developing and documenting routines and processes.
A good communicator.
Fluent in Swedish and English, if you know Spanish it´s a great merit.
